Mourinho: When In Milan

Jose Mourinho was making a return to his former "home"- as he would put it- for a Champions League encounter between Real Madrid and the annoying tennants of his former home, AC Milan. The tennant's fans' were standing by to guess what?- boo him. As expected, Mourinho gave the best response he could give, the 3 finger sign. AC Milan 0-3 Mourinho.
While Inter fans, whose team was beaten by Tottenham (or Gareth Bale, to be more exact) were showing their love to Jose and saying that he belongs to Inter, NOT Rafa Benitez.

The tactics of Jose Mourinho. Featuring his pen and notepad.

Benitez is new Inter coach...

That was fast. Just a week after Rafa left Liverpool by "mutual consent", Internazionale released a statement that read: " This morning, with both parties in agreement, a two year deal until June 30,2012, has been agreed between the Spanish manager and the club".
Benitez replaces the sexy one, The Special One who guided Inter to a treble last season but will taking over Real Madrid.

P.S: The Special One is fined 25,000 euros after he insinuated AS Roma would attempt to use underhand tactics to win the Seria A. Like paying Siena to win against Inter so Roma could win the title....that didn't happen, though!

Liverpool FC has arrived in Madrid!

Liverpool began their journey in Runcorn, where they boarded a train to London. A Eurostar train to Paris then followed, and after a night's stay in the French capital they boarded another train to Bordeaux, and then flew to Madrid. They face Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Europa League.

Steven Gerrard poses with a fan
First-choice GK Pepe Reina
Rafa Benitez believed that this trip has helped him bond with the players. Why do that now,Rafa? Why couldn't have you bonded with the players at the start of the season? (rhetorical question, btw)

Liverpool FC Arrive in Paris!

Due to the volcanic erruption in Iceland that caused many flights across Europe to be cancelled, Liverpool FC decided to take the train for their trip to Madrid by using the Eurostar to Paris.
Under-scrutiny Rafa was certainly the centre of attention
Reina, Mascherano and goalkeeping coach Xavi Velero outside the Gare du Nord.
Stevie G was also there but no Fernando Torres as he has underwent surgery for his knee...
How do the Reds spend their free time?
Mascherano: uses his phone
Steven Gerrard: stops and stare
Jamie Carragher: reads the latest footie gossip
Glenn Johnson: peeks at whatever others are doing....

Liverpool, Arsenal.

I just got bored then I saw this pic. This pic shows a Liverpool fan with a banner saying " I still TRUST RAFA" which not many people are doing now even Liverpool fans. Rafa Benitez is currently under scrutiny after having a not-so-impressive form this season. Liverpool did win Tottenham 2-0 which moved them to 6th place of the table.

Arsenal have now went to the top of the English Premier League after defeating Bolton Wanderers by 4-2. Arsenal battled back from 2-0 down to beat Bolton and go top of the Barclays Premier League.

Owen Coyle's men - beaten 2-0 by the Gunners on Sunday - took a shock lead on seven minutes through Gary Cahill and Matthew Taylor doubled the advantage from the penalty spot. However, Arsenal rallied through Tomas Rosicky's strike before half-time, with Cesc Fabregas and then Thomas Vermaelen turning things around before Andrey Arshavin netted a fourth to take the Gunners above Chelsea on goal scored. I guess this was their stupid game in hand....:(
