Messi Craze Induced Week

This week has been filled with too much Lionel Messi. But I am certainly not complaning.

Our boy, Lionel Messi won the FIFA Ballon D'Or for the 2nd time (in a row!!) with teammates Iniesta and Xavi coming behind. And the MOST IMPORTANT information, he is wearing a tux by Dolce & Gabbana.

Later in the plane, the three nominees as well as unbleeding Pique toasted good luck with some bubblay...

Messi was at the Camp Nou with his trophy a couple of days later to parade his trophy with Andres and Xavi. Off Topic: His smile brighten's up my day...

Oh yeah, as usual Messi scored a superb goal against Betis in the Copa Del Rey. Typical stuff from Messi and Iniesta who assisted the Messiah.

What A Goal (X10) PSV Eindhoven 10-0 Feyenoord

PSV Eindhoven embarassed Feyenoord after scoring 10 goals and keeping a clean sheet in the Dutch Eredivisie. Jonathan Reis scored a hat trick while both Jeremain Lens and Balaz Dzsudzsak both bagged braces. Ibrahim Afellay, Ola Toivonen and Orlando Engelaar scored one a piece to make it 10 goals to nothing.

Japanese Woman Does A Maradona In U-17 Women's World Cup

On Tuesday, Japan advanced to the Women's U-17 World Cup final in Trinidad and Tobago, defeating North Korea 2-1 thanks to Kumi Yokoyama. With the score even at 1-1, substitute Yokoyama put on an excellent display of ball control and dribbling skills while North Korea put on an astounding display of bad defending. But still, it was one of the best solo efforts ever. And they say women suck at football.
