England and Liverpool footballer Joe Cole has been warned he could lose his driving licence after being found guilty of speeding at 105mph.He was caught driving his Audi A4 on a 70mph section of dual carriageway in Claygate, Surrey, in November 2009.
And very typically, he has denied the charge. The sentence is adjourned until 27 August but Joe has been warned that be charged, who already has 6 points on his licence.
His lawyer, Dean George,claimed that the speed gun produced "an inaccurate reading". Great Joe, blame in it on the gun.
Andrew Mitchell, who has since retired from Surrey Police, used the laser speed gun that recorded the incident on 19 November last year - when Cole, who was a member of England's World Cup squad, was still playing for Chelsea.
