Yoan Gouffran of Bordeaux and France has been diagnosed to be allergic to grass. Only two teams in Ligue 1-Nancy and Lorient- use synthetic pitches. Gouffran has to play 36 of 38 games this season on grass, and was ordered to see an allergist to get help in managing his disorder. He basically fights for his life every time he plays on grass. Sad. New Bordeaux manager Jean Tigana told press:
"For a footballer, it’s embarrassing. He would have been better to play on synthetic pitches in Nancy or Lorient."
