Macheda Did Not Call Rooney "Vulgar"

Federico Macheda has clarified those comment he made about Manchester United teammate Wayne Rooney after a mistranslated quote about the England striker became headlines.

Macheda used the term 'coatto' to describe Rooney which according to Gabriel Marcotti, is a roman slang to say "brash", "unrefined" and "working class".

Kiko, instantly cleared the air and said, " I said 'coatto' in the Roman way but with the minimum intention to offend Rooney. "

He added on by saying, "I like him and I have maximum respect for him. What I wanted to say that for me he is a free spirit and genuine."

According to Kiko, he sent a message to Rio Ferdinand to clear things up and everything's alright. It better be.
