Even More Headache for Fabio Capello!

The whole world were rocked by the news that Chelsea and England's first choice left back is sidelined for 3 months after fracturing his left ankle during Chelsea's defeat against Everton. Although Ashley can come back in May, he only have a handful of games to play.

But If Cole fails to recover before the World Cup, life is going to be complicated for England manager, Fabio Capello as he mulls how to handle any fallout in the dressing room or the pitch between John Terry and 2nd choice left back, Wayne Bridge.

Having Bridge and Terry in the same dressing room will inevitably take some managing and the loss of Cole would make Bridge an automatic selection for the final squad.

That would not be the case if Cole were fit with Stephen Warnock of Aston Villa currently pushing hard to be promoted above Bridge, who has been plagued by injures and poor form at Manchester City this season.

All that aside, the loss of Cole would be a serious blow to England's chances of going deep into the tournament in South Africa. On his recent form, he has a legitimate claim to be regarded as the finest defender ever.
