Jonny Evans latest victim to Fergie's "Hairdryer Treatment"

Jonny Evans is the latest victim for Fergie's hairdryer treatment. For those of you who don't get what the "hairdryer treatment" really means (no, he doesn't take a hairdryer and make their hair all better) Sir Alex Ferguson is famed for his hair-dryer treatment, an up-close lecture generously given to under performing players which basically means he'll stand nose-to-nose with you, start shouting and your hair will end up being behind your head.
Even though Manchester United did win the match against AC Milan 3-2, by the looks of it, you do know that it was pretty bad defensively as Ronaldinho scored from a Beckham free kick under 3 minutes of the game. The whole event took place when Paul Scholes scored the equalizer and after Jonny congratulated Paul Scholes, while he was running back to the other side of the field, Fergie had to be held back by assistant Mike Phelan while he was screaming "fucking wake up" to Jonny Evans. After it, United did defend well, only to concede late with Seedorf's back heeled goal. But last night the United boss admitted: ‘I was just giving him a gentle bit of advice!

‘Our whole back four were going to get it, but he’s unfortunate he was the nearest defender to me. They had to compose themselves, that was the most important thing. After that, they settled and got very composed and got back to their normal game.‘The result was very different because of Ferguson said in an American radio interview that the atmosphere had unsettled his team.

He said: ‘The one thing that’s so amazing is that for the first 15 minutes I felt in shock, really in shock, because the atmosphere was unbelievable. Coupled with the noise when they scored, it unnerved me and it unnerved my players.‘No matter how much experience you have got, you get drawn into that cauldron of noise — and to get through that really did take a lot of courage.’
